01 Our story
From a Shuswap garden to the North Shore.
Harvest Moon Bakery is Nick and Christy Driver. They met in culinary school, cooked in restaurants across the Lower Mainland, then left the city to learn how to grow their own food.
While market gardening at a farm in the Shuswap, they started bringing a few loaves of bread to sell alongside the produce. Before long they were selling more bread than vegetables. They took their baking to markets across the interior, and when demand outgrew the markets they opened a storefront on the North Shore of Kamloops. They settled here in the fall of 2019 and opened their doors to the public three years later.
